Weaning is the most stressful period in a pigs life. During this time the piglets gut must adapt from a highly digestible liquid diet to a less digestible solid diet. Underdeveloped enzyme secretion, waning passive immunity, and bacterial dysbiosis can reduce the piglets ability to absorb the nutrients it needs to thrive.
Velox-β provides a source of highly digestible lipids to give piglets the energy they need to repair their gut, increase feed intake, and perform to their max. The unique blend of triglycerides in Velox-β does not require bile emulsion or lipase activity for absorption across the gut and is rapidly transported to the liver for a ready source of energy.
